Step 1: Contact a NYC Hydras’ member

We’ll be able to answer any questions you have about the team and guide you to your first NYC Hydras practice. ( CONTACT US )

Step 2: Trial Swim

After you speak with a team representative, we’ll schedule a trial swim so you can get a feel for the team and we can get an idea of your skillset and goals

Step 3: United States Masters Swimming (USMS) Membership

For your trial swim you will sign a USMS membership waiver form for insurance purposes. Once you have decided to join the team a USMS membership is required, valid for that year. This form is available online at USMS here. Our Team code is ‘NYCH’ (CLICK HERE)

Step 4: Payment Options

• Unlimited Package Paid quarterly (Sept-Nov/Dec-Feb/Mar-May/Jun-Aug; prorated accordingly), this is the best value for your money and highly recommended to stay committed and in great shape. 3 months for the bargain of $315 ! Contact us for more information.
• 10-Swim Pack paid at any time and valid for the quarter in session. This package works great for those with tough work and/or family schedules but need an escape to get fit and stay in shape. This can be had for $150, valid during any practice. Contact us if you’re interested.
• Full Time Student Package the unlimited discount package paid quarterly for students only. Student ID and proof of attendance required. $255 gets you swimming. Contact us for further details. We all can remember a time when there wasn’t much more in our pockets than lint!
• Drop-Ins (out of town) are for the USMS members just visiting the NYC Hydras. For those swimmers out of town, the drop-in fee is an unbeatable $5. Drop us a line if you know you’ll be stopping by.
• Drop-Ins (Tri-state area) Live in NYC, but don’t have time to get a great swim workout? NYC Hydras is the place to get it ! Drop-In fees for local visitors is $20. Shoot us an email if you know you’ll be attending a practice ahead of time. We guarantee you’ll love it and consider joining !

All plans, except Drop-Ins, are subject to a yearly NYC Hydras membership fee, $50; No refund, no rollover policy for all plans
